The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Prairies/NWT (CBCF-P/NWT) is establishing a Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) in support of the Region’s research and fellowship grant programs and Dr. Bonham was identified as an ideal candidate to participate in this initiative. The purpose of the CBCF-P/NWT Scientific Advisory Council is to provide expertise and advice to the regional Grant Allocation staff regarding policy and grant-related decision making. This Council will enhance the Region’s ability to fulfill the CBCF mission by supporting the Foundation’s role as a funder of relevant and innovative research and supporter and advocate of health care issues in breast cancer. The Council will consist of subject matter experts, individuals representing research disciplines across the breast cancer continuum, with professional skills and competencies across the spectrum of breast cancer research and clinical treatment and care.
